Passion for transformative, life-long learning through an experiential and relational ontology with individuals, groups, and communities in formal and informal settings

I am honoured to support learning at SelfDesign Graduate Institute as Dean-designate and as Faculty. I believe in the human capacity to “author our own lives from a place of resourcefulness, creativity, and possibility” and that capacity is nourished in a self-renewing learning community of care, as we support global flourishing of both the human and non-so-human ecosystem. I am also on Faculty at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, a teaching and learning focused post-secondary institution located south of Vancouver, BC, Canada. My teaching and research over the past 5 years has focused on holistic, integral and transformational approaches to education. I am a PhD Candidate in the Transformative Studies program at California Institute of Integral Studies, where my Dissertation is focused on enacting contemplative methods to inquire into wisdom in the learner experience, and the impact of that wisdom as a transformational experience to the educator.
